The Governance boards are the executive bodies and external supervisory advisory bodies attached to Fraunhofer Singapore Research Ltd., and consist of representatives from Fraunhofer Gesellschaft as well external representatives from science and industry in Singapore.
The Executive Board is responsible for the operation and direction of Fraunhofer Singapore Research Ltd. and its Centre for Applied and Integrated Security (CAIS). It oversees business strategy, day-to-day operations and compliance with research objectives. It is responsible for narrowing the gap between academia and industry by fostering links between industry contacts and academic research groups.
The Executive Board and executes operational day-to-day business, oversees and is responsible for the research mission, business development strategy and financial plans of Fraunhofer Singapore and its center(s).
The Supervisory Board (Board of Directors) acts as advisor to the CEO of Fraunhofer Singapore and controls the executive management of Fraunhofer Singapore and FSR research centres. Six supervisory board members are appointed to the governing board for Fraunhofer Singapore.
The Academic Board acts as an advisor to the CEO and the executive director of its center(s) and supports in defining the organisation’s research policy and the research strategy.
